“Angels in the Square” was published in the journal NOT ONE OF US in October 2022. This short fantasy story features several characters from my longer fiction set in Boston in the 1980s, as well as the revered poet and storyteller Brother Blue (Dr. Hugh Morton Hill). I met Brother Blue several times in Harvard Square, and performed twice at his open story-telling mic at the Bookceller Cafe.
